Perhaps I spoke too soon as my prior comments conjured a freak blizzard. But my efforts will not be in vain. Trapped inside for the duration, I pulled out that book of collages to add a few more pages, including these mind-blowing images.

Starving Artist

I have fallen behind in my weekly photo series project, which was to be expected. When you're broke you do what you can with what you have. And now that the slough of ice storms have subsided I'll have more opportunities to venture out. And there are many exciting events to look forward to. Adventures will be had and I will catch up.

It will be worth it. I promise.

I'm gonna draw a tree...


A warm-up sketch, a doodle even... turns into hours of work, lasts for days. It took me a week to draw this. I think my work ethic is slacking a bit.

Antique sounds too old, but Vintage has become my childhood.

Buddha Board

This is fascinating.

Just add water and your brushstrokes, whether premeditated or randomized, rise almost from nowhere. Stand back and admire your sketch for a minute or two as it slowly disappears.

Paint your frustrations and watch them fade away.

And begin again.
